“Lutong Makaw?” Netizens, hindi kumbinsido sa desisyon sa gold medal match ni Nesthy Petecio laban sa Japan

Usap usapan ngayon sa social media ang kontrobersiyal na desisyon ng mga hurado sa gold medal match sa pagitan ng pambato ng Pilipinas na si Nesthy Petecio at Sena Irie ng Japan.

Matatandaan na nakuha ni Irie ang gintong medalya matapos siyang paboran ng mga hurado via unanimous decision.

Dikit na dikit ang score sa pagitan ni Petecio at Irie ngunit kahit dikit ang kanilang score ay walang pumabor ni isang hurado sa pambato ng Pilipinas.

Dahil dito ay madaming netizen ang nagdududa sa resulta ng nasabing laban at naniniwala na ‘niluto’ ito para paboran ang pambato ng Japan na siyang host ng Olympics ngayon.

Ilan sa mga netizens ay ipinahayag ang kanilang opinyon tungkol sa laban at sinabi na hindi sila kumbinsido sa naging desisyon ng mga hurado.

Kahit ang sports journalist at miyembro ng Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) na si Ryan Songalia ay naniniwala na dapat ay si Petecio ang nanalo sa laban.
